Logging in as administrator

Using a web browser of your choice (Mozilla Firefox and Google Chrome are recommended), enter the address of the freshly installed OSSE registry into the URL bar.

Opening the registry for the first time will produce a certificate error and the browser will ask if you want to open the websute anyway. It is safe to do so in this case as the respective server is under your control. To avoid this error in the future, you will have to acquire an SSL certificate from your IT department or one of the certification authorities available on the market.

After loading the website, you have to log in as administrator with the following details to configure and set up the registry:

username: admin
password: admin

Please remember to change the password as soon as possible via the administrator’s user profile by clicking on the small white head in the upper right corner of the page.
