Navigating the OSSE.EDC

After successfully logging in to the registry the registry dashboard or the patient list will be displayed on the screen, depending on the registry settings.

Registry dashboard

If activated by a registry administrator, the dashboard represents the central landing page of an OSSE registry. It provides direct access to the main functions of the registry (e.g., the patient list or adding new patients) and links to useful documents or resources. It may also include registry-specific statistics or aggregated data; such as an overview of patients by registry location. Further statistics based on specific data collected in the registry currently need to be programmed manually.

Registry menu

The menu bar at the top of the screen provides direct access to the patient list (List of patients) as well as the registry dashboard (Overview). In addition, it allows users to switch the current role and to edit the user profile. Using the flag icon, users can switch between different available languages (currently supporting German and English).

Your user account may be assciated with different roles, confering different levels of access (e.g. entering data, exporting data, adding patients) and potentially associated with different registry locations depending on the registry's access policy. You can switch between different roles using the dropdown menu in the upper right corner of the page. Please contact your (local) registry administrator with any questions regarding your assigned roles.
