OSSE Export Tool

In addition to capturing and managing medical data, the OSSE EDC also provides an Export Tool to extract registry data as CSV or XML files for further processing and analysis. The Export Tool enables authorized users to define queries for selected registry data, e.g. by specifying criteria to only select matching patients or by selecting relevant data elements. The resulting data export can also be customized through various options. Export definitions can be saved and used as predefined queries without having to re-enter the criteria each time.

Access the Export Tool

To access the Export Tool, a user must have a role with the OSSE permission "DataExport". The user can then select the "Export data" option at the top of the patient list to open a new browser tab opens with the OSSE.Share component, which includes the export tool in the "Data export" tab.

Overview of the Export Tool

On the main page, the currently saved export definitions are listed and can be downloaded, edited or deleted using the icons under "Action". To initiate a new export, simply click on the "New Export" button at the bottom of the list.
