Using form status

Using the Form status functionality, OSSE allows users to report a completed data form for validation by another user. In order for the respective functions to be available, you must have a role with the respective OSSE permissions (DataReport, DataValidation, RemoveValidation).

Reporting data

Initially, forms have the status unused, which changes to open once data has been entered and stored within that form. For users with the OSSE permission DataReport, an icon is displayed next to the form status in order to change the form's status to reported.

In the pop-up window the status of the form can be toggled to reported, along with an optional comment.

After clicking the Change state button, a confirmation dialogue confirms that the form's status was changed from open to reported. This information is also displayed in the forms tab on the left and indicated by a letter icon next to the form's name above the form. The data in the form can no longer be modified and saved, unless the form's status is reverted to open by a user with the OSSE permission DataValidation.

Validating data

Users with the OSSE permission DataValidation are now able check the data in a form with status reported and change its status to open (in order to correct data) or validated (after successfully checking the data).

This information is also displayed in the forms tab on the left and indicated by a lock icon next to the form's name above the form. The data in the form can no longer be modified and saved, unless the form's status is reverted to open by a user with the OSSE permission RemoveValidation.
