Managing episodes

To create a new episode, click the New episode button above the episode carousel.

In the following screen, enter the date or select the corresponding date from the pop-up calendar. The format for this unique episode identifier depends on the episode pattern configured by the registry administrator.

Optionally you can enter a short text to label the episode and specify that all data from the previous episode should be transferred to the new episode. After clicking Save the episode is added to the episode carousel at the top of the screen. The first longitudinal data form is displayed next to a list of all longitudinal data forms in the left.

Using the bottoms above the form, you can import data from one or all longitudinal data forms of the previous episode, i.e., transfer previously recorded data into the current episode. Click the corresponding button above the episode carousel and confirm that you want to proceed with the import; this will overwrite any existing data in the form(s). You will still be able to enter new data or change the imported data of course. To delete an episode from the patient dataset, click the Delete current episode button and confirm that you want to delete the selected episode in the dialogue.
