Configuring registry settings
Global administrators of a registry (role Global Admin) can configure several basic registry settings in the Registry Design section of the administration area.
Configuring the episode pattern
The pattern for episode labels (used to uniquely identify individual episodes in the OSSE.EDC and database) can be changed under Episode Pattern. By default, the pattern is set to ISO date (yyyy-MM-dd) to specify a particular date. In addition, the following options are available: * Index (dd) * Month and year (MM/yyyy) * Quarter (Qx/yyyy) * Roman Quarters (I-IV/yyyy) * English date (dd/MM/yyyy)
Save the changes by clicking the Save button.
Configuring the login screen
The visual appearance of the registry's login screen can be customized under Login Design. Toggle off to on to activate the custom login and enter a login headline and/or text. You can also upload a logo to appear on top of the login screen. Save the changes by clicking the Save button.
Configuring the registry dashboard
As a new feature, OSSE provides a registry dashboard as the registry's landing page, which can be activated and customized under Dashboard Design. Toggle off to on to activate the dashboard feature and enter the registry-specific information (logo, name, greeting text) for each language (currently supporting German and English). You can also add useful links or documents by clicking the respective button and entering a description and URL. Save the changes by clicking the Save button.
In addition to this configurable information, the dashboard can contain aggregated registry data and statistics in form of graphs or table. At this stage, registry statistics include the number of patients per registry location by default. Further project-specific dashboard statistics currently have to be defined in the code (see Publication).
Configuring imprint and data protection information
Under Imprint and data protection you can provide links to a legal notice and privacy policy. These will appear at the bottom of the login screen, which may be a requirement of the institution operating the registry.
